Kansas City Event Photography | Old Hollywood Benefit for Children’s Mercy Hospital

One of the great things about being an event photographer is that I get to go to some great parties. I was contacted by Katie from KC Connections about three months ago and told about a benefit she was putting together for Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Healthier Ever After Campaign. After hearing all about it, I said “I’m in” and became the official photographer for the event, which was at Black on Burlington in North KC.

I knew the show would be spectacular when I found out that James Pillatzke of Pinkie Couture would be assembling the talent and designing the show. And what a show! There were two fashion shows, with clothing by The Garment District, gorgeous models from Hoffman International and music by DRMX.

I set up a photobooth for guests to have fun with and create some playful photos. In addition, there were several aerial performances, a silent auction and a date auction! The food was awesome and a fun night was had by all who attended.

The photobooth pictures can be seen on my Facebook fan page.
